School Council
At Mount Pleasant Lane Primary and Nursery, our School Council gives primary-aged children a real voice in school life. Through regular meetings, pupils discuss ideas and suggestions, share feedback from their classes, and help shape improvements that make day-to-day learning and school routines even better. We encourage children to listen respectfully to others, think carefully about practical solutions, and take responsibility for the actions they agree. Parent support is important too - by talking with your child about what they have discussed, celebrating their contributions, and encouraging them to explain their ideas, you can help strengthen confidence, teamwork, and a sense of belonging across our school community.
