Monday 18 May 2026 Reception Trip - Aldenham Park Conkers Class had a fantastic morning at Aldenham Country Park. The children loved the hands-on experience of feeding the animals, including cheeky goats and a very funny, extremely fluffy chicken! They also enjoyed dancing through the ‘dance tunnel' and clambering up and down the hay bales. The weather was beautiful too - as the snoozing pigs would certainly agree.

Friday 8 May 2026 Opal - 4 month Update! We are now four months into our OPAL Play journey and it's been lovely to see how confident the children are becoming with all the different resources and play areas now available to them. They are becoming familiar with how different zones can be used and are beginning to makethoughtful choices about where and how they play. The tyre swing and den building remain popular, and we are about to start ‘Games Fridays' – where instead of football a sports activity is run on the field by a playleader for those who wish to join; be it rounders, cricket or races.

Friday 8 May 2026 Sir David Attenborough's 100th Birthday! Celebrating 100 years of David Attenborough. Our whole school has been marking this wonderful milestone with exciting class activities inspired his incredible work, celebrating nature, wildlife, and the world around us. Happy 100th Birthday, Sir David!

Tuesday 17 March 2026 Year 4 Trip - Mountfitchet Castle Year 4 had an amazing trip to Mountfitchet Castle this week.
