Hazel - Year Four

Welcome to Hazel Class

Welcome to Hazel! Our year 4 children are now the oldest of Lower Key Stage 2 and will be getting ready for their transition to Upper Key Stage 2. We encourage our children to be role models and support their leadership skills throughout year 4. In their learning, children strengthen what they’ve learned and start exploring more complex topics through a creative and engaging curriculum. A key part of year 4 is the Statutory Multiplication Check which all year 4 children across the country take part in. Children are expected to know all their times tables by the end of year 4, so this is a key learning skill for this year group which you can support at home by practising all multiplication facts.
